Do you reckon that there'll be much of a performance bump for current MBP owners on Snow Leopard with Lion?

Maybe. The big performance thing for me when I went from Leopard to Snow Leopard was it being fully fledged 64bit so nice big speed increase there for me :)

However, Lion can't pull that trick again so I doubt there will be THAT much of a speed increase, however, Apple are good at refining there software so don't be surprised if there is :)

As long as they don't update the minimise, maximise and close traffic lights to a vertical system, I'll be happy.

The vertical ones annoy me in iTunes, horizontal uses less space too.

since moving to apple i find some things are great and other little things are just really annoying.

really hope they fix being able to sort your bookmarks alphabetically in safari among other things. what were they thinking; 'no no no, no-one will want to do that!'
