Almost every forum with a good "general" area starts as a specific topic forum. OcUK, mum's net, Pistonheads etc... This is because like(ish) minded people sign up, so tend to get along in the general areas...
Looking through his post history in his profile he's replaced loads of random posts with "...". You can see most of the original posts as people have quoted him and they're just typical posts, nothing special.
I used to post on Thesite.org, had numerous forums such as anything goes (like here), legal, tech, travel, work, relationships, clubbing, It was geared towards uni students though age 16-25 so it's been a few years since I've posted on there. I only post on here now, and on a themepark-specific forum Ukrides.info
