Other users storage path visible from save dialogue - Office

Hi guys,

Bit of a strange one, on our very primitive network (2008 r2 iirc) at work I've started to notice that about 1 session 10 I am able to browse other users storage paths when saving my work. Whereas normally I would only be able to save to \user$\ME I am suddenly able to browser, edit/delete etc. the entire \user$ directory...

Any thoughts?

You need to look at file permissions on the folder where the user profile share points to because quite clearly if you're able to access other peoples folders then they're no longer set correctly. Have a look at this article for examples of how permissions should be set to ensure people can only see their own folders.
