I think you will all agree this is an incredible price for such a high specification of memory with CAS 4-4-4-15 timings at 800MHz with good overclocking potential. Backed up by a lifetime warranty from OCZ! :)

Get your wallets out! :D :D :D

Wow - that is a good deal.

Can anyone vouch for four of these (£51.68) working well in a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L?

Or would I be better of with 2x2GB, these:
GeIL 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-6400C5 800MHz Black Dragon DDR2 Dual Channel Kit (GB24GB6400C5DC)
For £58.74

£7 more for slower RAM seems dumb, but are there advantages in have 2x2GB over 4x1GB?

4x1gb can cause Overclocking issues

That's what I'm thinking. I don't want to actually overclock the RAM though. I'll be running an E2160 (9x200=1.8GHz) and hoping to overclock to 9x333=3GHz. With the RAM in sync this is is only 667MHz, well within the 800MHz spec of the OCZ RAM.

The Gigabyte board and P35 chipset are meant to be pretty good so I can't see 4x1GB being a problem, no?

That is a mental price for that, lol. Might have to have a word with my mate as he will be uprading relatively soon so it might be worth him getting some of this in now.

Great price!!!

BUT, if your planning getting a E8200/8400 and clocking them you would be better off getting some PC8500 or Ballistix. I have 2 sets and they have limited the stable clock I get with the E8400; one pair don't like 450, the other struggles to get to 470.

Nice TWO offer on the PC8500 Ballistix - much cheaper than Crucial ( Can I say that? )

This is THE cheapest I've seen the OCZ sell for, my friend got one of these yesterday at its full price £36 delivered and he's gutted.

I've used 4 sticks of these before but they didn't overclock very well though.

Incredible offer, but does anyone know if I would have any problem running four of these in a P5K WifI/Premium. I had heard there could be problems with OCZ and Asus boards.

Thx

Mine arrived today - will be going in a Gigabyte GA-P35C-DS3R with an E2160 looking for over 3GHz. With its x9 multiplier I only need 333MHz on the RAM so there shouldn't be any issues. Will report back later...

With the latest bios update for the P5K-E/WiFi-AP (0906) I have no issue running a set of the OCZ. Going to get another set next week, hopefully I have no issue running 2 sets.

On a side note, my mates P5K-SE with the latest bios update refused to work with this memory.

Hope somebody can advise me - I'm running an Nforce 590 SLI board with 3GB of PC5300 RAM (2 x 1gb, 2 x 512MB). Would it be worth my while to ditch my existing RAM and get 4 sticks of this OCZ? I also understand I need to run my rig at 400FSB to get a 1:1 FSB/mem ratio. I can overclock my mobo through nTune only (thanks to Dell!)
