Nice wheels!

peterattheboro I can go for hours and hours on a motorway in 5th at 5k RPM, so for me this whole "motorway driving" thing is a a weak excuse
So let the engine work hard, it's designed to work hard
That's a car I could drive even knowing I wasn't in love with the looks. Just pressing the loud pedal gives it's an hourglass figure![]()

and when it does it chews through fuel, imagine being able to drive on the motorway, cruise and not burn fuel, i wonder if thats where the term motorway cruiser came from![]()
I manage 40MPG, granted with much less power and a much lighter car, while still doing 100mph down a motorway
Besides, fuel is not THAT expensive
Its got a god damn corvette engine in it FFS
whats not to like
Nice purchase.
OP
get a wortec exhaust on it and make it sound like this:
imagine being able to do that at 2k rpm, the reduced stress on your engine over the same distance is really quite a lot.
i think fuel is bloody expensive I don't even (directly) pay for mine![]()
You can get a turbo kit from USA for £400, front mount and everything![]()
At 40MPG I can't complain about fuel costs, as for reduced stress ... my engine is fine with running at higher RPMs for long periods of time
get yourself on:

If thats the turbo kit i think it is, its got a reputation in the states for cracking turbos as they are cheaply made. Best avoided
Speak to monkfish performance, Walkinshaw Performance or Rapid GB if you want some good sound advice.

Will do, cheers Mr.LOL
