Hmmm totally forgot about my order with hmv, got the game for £23...just got the email confirmation that they have shipped it out.

Dont know if this game is any good but i should have it by tommorrow, so will report back on it. Looks good from the screenies that i have seen, just surprised they didnt release a demo of it on xbox live....unless i missed it:p

Anyone else order this game?? or am i the only lone ranger here thats the guinea pig for it?:p

Yeah I just got my shipped message today :) was thinking about cancelling last week,, hope its good :)
 
Meant to be pants, but I am loving it.

Great for pick up and play sessions, and high comical flying like a madman. :p

I am realy liking this, good fun to play although it lacks any real depth, done it once done it 10000x, but its just as addictive as Ace Combat on the PS1 so I am happy. :)

Exactly what i was going to say more or less, no real depth to the game and gfx although good is sometimes laughable..try the view behind the plane outside one and the smoke that comes out from the exhaust...just doesnt look right lol:p.
Also once you have completed a mission, it cuts to the scene where the planes fly off into the distance. The funny thing is that it seems like the screen gets jumpy and blurs out the planes somewhat..dunno if its my copy or if its happening on anyone elses.

Anyways ive been enjoying it somewhat, great for pick and play and doesnt really require any real experience tbh. Good fun though and achievements are easy enough to get on this game.

Also, went on a hour or so ago and was having a close fight with this plane, then he flew into his wingman. :D
 
Which reminds me, im stuck on the level where you have the f117a stealth bomber...now im trying to figure out how the hell to bomb anything...i dont see any targets or anything on the ground...albeit im at 22k ft lol. But i seem to fly right over the targets which i assume are the green triangular ones but i keep getting bombed out of the sky

Any ideas as this is really starting to get on my nerves lol:p

Follow the navigation points as close as you can flying level at first. You will get a lock on from the rear when you pass one of the points along the route, I dived to gain speed and make distance between myself and the enemy fighter. After loosing lock, I climbed again and then switched to bomb mode near the last navigation point. You should have loaded up with laser/gps jdam bombs at the start and should be able to drop these from high up without having to dive down.
 
I should get this within the next couple of weeks on a rental, personally I am really looking forward to it as it's something different to play.

Anybody expecting deep gameplay or something thats going to blow them away are clearly going to be disappointed.

Why do you think its rubbish? Its basically Ace Combat on the 360, were you expecting a knife fight simulator or something? :p
