Don't they give out a private prescription if that's the case? I.e. £6 per tablet.
You can only get them on the NHS (far cheaper) if you have a condition that causes problems.

but the reality sounds quite "dark".Yes he gets it on the cheap on the NHS. He said he'll just take the "humiliation" element rather than risking buying from some dude in a pub, costing even more.
He said that his doctor most likely knows the score as all the swingers does that.

I took a punt on one once, didn't seem to 'enhance' anything
A friend claimed to have taken them recreationally, no idea how he got them though, I would rather not abuse the NHS were I ever going to.
I knew this thread would be of a rock solid quality.

Just meant I finished, waited a few minutes then was ready for another round.
I think we had 4 rounds, but by that time I was pretty bored of it to be honest.

Stiff competition in the pharmaceutical world. It would be hard for one of them to justify no ploughing down the price if one of their competitors did it. Hopefully they'l erect some signs in the shop windows to save you the embarrassment of having to ask outright.
I'd recommend buying them while you can, as even a small rise could cause you to have to pay a lot more in long run.
Viagra substitutes are available though for a lot less, just visit your local pub and check out the 'male pills' in the machine. The machines are a little unreliable though, once you have pumped the lever a bit it might be necessary to pound the machine to get the load to drop.

A guy from work (who was diabetic) got them on the NHS.
He gave me one to try.
I popped it, waited, nothing happened. I think I thought it was just gonna do it all for me.
Anyway, got down to it with the Mrs, got it up as usual, did the business, deflated as usual.
Had no effect on me at all.

Because I remember the thread, and SOMEONE said "You can walk into any pub and get a mac 10 in 10 minutes" or something to that effect.

Its was the incredulity of the responses to the proposition that a 13 year old could obtain a mac 10 in 3 minutes that made it so funny.
However by saying that its possible in that area, and he knows because he lives in that area, he is, in a roundabout way, actually saying that he can get a mac 10 in three minutes.
So people can get away with having a giggle at it still.
Or is my logic flawed there?
