Overclocking GeForce 9800 GT / Windows 7 64bit

Hey guys,

I'm a bit new to this overclocking malarkey to say the least - what I've been having trouble with is finding a testing application that works with Windows 7 x64.

RivaTuner doesn't support it as far as I can see. Evga Precision seems to be working fine as far as I can tell -

If anyone can point me in the right direction it'd be much appreciated

Hi, welcome to the forums

Generally the first thing that comes to people's minds with NVidia overclocking is RivaTuner. It is possible to get it working with Windows 7 x64 (linky). It's also worth it. Fantastic tool.

If you dont want to go through that though, then I suppose there's always NTune, although one often hears mixed reviews on that, generally favouring the extreme negative

GPUtool is good. Never run it on Win 7 though.

Precision will be fine. It uses the same core software as RivaTuner, but it's easier to use.
