Clearly I'm doing something wrong here.
I've got this board with a Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition and I'm trying to overclock it. I went into the BIOS and I changed AI tuning to manual and then set the CPU multiplier to 18, in an attempt to get 3.6GHz.
However, when I get into Windows the CPU speed is reported as 3.4GHz and the multiplier is still 17.
Can anyone put me out of my misery and tell me what I'm doing wrong?
