Overspeeding...consequences?

Well that settles it then :)

highways agency is part of the department for transport and is responsible for managing the road network in the UK.

The cars you see on the motorway with high visibility markings on have no powers of the police, other than the power to close a road when theres a bad accident.

They are the ones clarkson so gleefully calls the motorway wombles.. because they spend most of their time picking stuff off the carriageway :D

Haven't images like this . . .

been used as evidence to prosecute drivers on forums before now?

That sounds like the M40 as it approaches the M25?

Or the M2. Once you get more than 4 lanes, people just leave the inner most 3 empty. If you are doing around 70 and people are going slower in the 4th of 5 lanes, then I don't view it as undertaking. Their retarded driving otherwise results in a 4 lane swap overtaking manoeuvre. Obviously I wouldn't dream of doing that though :p

ARgh!! well I just got stuck behind some woman driver plodding along the dual-carriageway in the outside lane, 65mph and not even gaining on the lorry she was overtaking.... I was so tempted to undertake but I resisted the annoyance and instead sat on her ass till she finally put her foot down. Clear road ahead i might add but god the frustration.
