Overtime Theft

Name change to groan?

:)

That or moen.

Should be one of the poll options :p

@groen

If it's that important arrange a meeting to have it sorted out. He may genuinely have believed this to be the easiest option rather than having to fight with other staff to get them to do the overtime though it does sound as if he's being a wee bit unreasonable if he's not open to divvying up the hours now that you've made it apparent that you'd be willing to work some of them.

Thread being de-railed!

You need to speak to you manager face to face.
We had this in work and we took turns doing the free slot.

If he won't budge then you should all refuse to do any oncall! Let him do it every week. He will soon get tired of it.

Brilliant idea, refuse to work the shifts you are assigned because you don't like them. That will end well.

I don't see why you have bring up the other threads. They have nothing to do with this.

The thing is there is at least 4 of us who are willing to do as much as possible because we don't get any phone calls so you practically get extra £450 before tax for just covering a phone that rarely rings. When i swapped my week with another person he called me up and said next time you want to swap let me know first as he said he will do it. When it started he even told me the wrong payment amounts so i was almost not going to do it. Then i found out the real pay for it. So he has been trying to do more than his fair share from the start.

They have something to do with it as they explain and show what your worth ethic is like.

You want this shift as it means you will hardly have to do any work and will get paid more for it.

If you spent less time moaning and being an awful employee you might get promoted and not need to worry about such things.
