Hi , Just a quick question.

I am looking to buy the Asus P5N32-SLI Deluxe Premium WIFI/AP, the 590 SLI chipset version. But i have noticed that it requires 8 pin +12V power. Its something i have come across before but dont know much about. Ive heard people say that you can use the standard 4 pin , and i have heard that in some cases it just wont boot. So i was wondering - ive heard of adapters but are they readily available ? I dont want to take the chance as i need the PC to be down for as little time as possible.

The reason for my choice of board is :
I have a pentium D , and i cant afford to go Core 2 yet , but would like to.
I have 533Mhz DDR2 but i plan to upgrade it , yet cant aford it now.
I would like the prospect of going SLI in the future and this board has dual X16 lanes.
I also like the extra features that the board includes.

Feel free to suggest another board but bare in mind i only have about £150 and need the features above. Before someone attacks me with the suggestion I CANT GO CORE 2 NOW.

Seems like a nice board, but i am a little rusty lol.

Just for anyone who is interested the system now is in my sig, basically im just replacing the motherboard. I dont need to overclock ( even though it says in my sig ) , so i dont need a massive headroom for that. I just need a new , fairy nice mobo.

Cheers guys , look forward to feedback :)

Regards,
