Seems to vary person to person, whether that's down to skill or luck I don't know, but low end seems to be about 400MHz, high end is over 450MHz.

couple of questions for you on this board, if you could help would be ace.

I am currently installing xp pro onto it, but cannot decide, im using 2 x 250mb hdd's in a raid 0 config, but should i use them on the intel controller or the ez backup one?

i was wondering if you had played around, im installing anyways, but the ez backup doesnt look like it lets you choose the cluster size and such, although its supposed to be a hardware solution as apposed to the intel which is semi hard/software.

also what would be the best chip for me to use lol,

have 2 sat here, my p4 3.2 prescot which i know is good for 4ghz, but i also have an 805d sat here which has had very little use.

Now i have carp mem pc4300 purple shirt place crud until i decide on what to roll with when i get the conroe.

1 more question, i keep getting a keyboard error on boot up, keyboard is working fine in bios and os. Just annoying having to press f1/f2 to continue.

shipped with 0401 bios i think it is, dated 06-06-06 :eek:

Any advice would be welcome.

Yeah still WoWing, stopped playing for 6 months when I got fed up of the 10+ paladins competing for raid spots. When I last checked IFA had upsticks and left for Frostmane in a migration. I'm now playing on Kilrogg as a priest in the top guild on the server.

I'm using the Intel controller, seems decent enough and I can't say I've noticed any issues with it. I'm sitting on a 805D at 4GHz on water at the moment until I get my Conroe.

If you go into the Boot menu, there is an option to turn off "Wait on Error" I think it's called.

nice one mate,

using ez raid im getting 157mbs burst speed
average read time of 97mbs
and 2% cpu usage


using the intel i am getting
245mbs burst speed
average read of 71
and 1% cpu usage

think i will just stick with the intel for now.

im on kul tiras now.

have a small guild of my own, about 50 members called the wolf riderz.
mostly orcs lol
