The p6td is a sligtly newer revision of the deluxe v2, i think the only difference in the boards are 16+2 phase power on the v2 whereas its 16+3 on the p6td, layout wise theyre identical.
And slightly off topic, but not too far. Asus website states:
1 x 8-pin ATX 12V Power connector.
My PSU has the standard 4 pin 12V connector but not an 8 pin one. On the picture of the mobo (asus website again) there is a plastic cap on 4 of the 8 pins, so can anyone confirm that a standard 4 pin connector is enough and the extrs 4 pins are not needed.
The V2 is indeed the older one of the two you mentioned. And yes, you can plug either a 4-pin or an 8-pin connector into the 12V socket, on the P6TD at least.
