P6X58D-E Reboots on Shut down...

Hey i am having some issues with my windows 7 64bit proffessional system which upon shut down reboots a few seconds later!! It is the latest bios here is the system:
ATI 5870,
I7 930,
6gb corsair,
Coolermaster ATCS 840,
Corsair 850HX,
F3 Spin point 1tb,
C300 64gb SSD.

These are the solutions that i have tried that have not worked so far:

1.Right click Computer,
Properties,
Advanced tab,
Settings button (Starup and Recovery),
uncheck Automatically Restart.

2. Disabling boot in bios for mouse, keyboard etc...

3. unplugging all external devices when shutting down.

Just A quick thought, have you got wake on lan disabled? if you are using a LAN cable that is?

failing that re-set the bios completely and try again see what happens then?

ah, boot loop. my old setup used to do this.

scary cos my new setup is identical to yours except for the cpu.
