p8p67 pro bios temp

Hi
just installed my radon allosaur bundle from ocuk everything seems fine but the bios reports cpu temp at 49c where as core temp and pc probe 2 say 34-37c.

which do i trust?

Hey mate,

Coretemp is probably the most accurate. Try comparing to realtemp as thats another 'respected' cpu temp monitor

LOL......My P8P67-M PRO is the other way around

The asus bios is reporting about 10c lower temps compared to core & real temp

I believe the CPU is under some load in the BIOS.

bios temps are not very accurate tbh, Coretemp is reliable

The asus windows software also reports the temps about 10c lower then core/real temp does...
