p965 Vs 975x for the Conroe?

hello all

i,m ready to go on the conroe band wagon but which board or chipset?

Asus P5B Deluxe/WiFi-AP
(Intel® P965 / ICH8R with Intel® Fast Memory Access Technology)

or

Asus P5W DH Deluxe
(Intel 975X / Intel ICH7R)


Any ideas and suggestions would be great?

I'm tempted to go with the 965 since the motherboards seem to be cheaper and I don't really want to spend more than £100 on it.
 
Apparantly there's 2/3 week delays on all the 965 boards which means I'm going to have to go for a 975 board if the Conroes are going to ship at the end of the week like they should be.

Oh please - are people still believing "The Inquirer" and their 14th of July release date on the Conroe chips?
The NDA is lifted on the 14th - do you honestly think stores are going to have volume on that day?

Well acording to a thread on the XS forum the US stores already have them in stock.
