Static swap file should be 2 times the amount of memory you have (make it 'just' over 2 times though). Some people may disagree but that is old school way of doing it so you can swap the entire contents of memory into the swap file if needed and pull out somethig else from the swap file to fill the entire memory.
In practice, probably very rare for you to need that much, but better safe, as HDD space is cheap
