Hi

This is part of my rear bumper, was painted about a year ago and on having a close look now it seems to be terrible. Standing a couple of meters away it cannot be seen and seems to shine ok but it's not got a clear crisp reflection like the rest of the car. The entire rear bumper was painted and is the same all over.

Can anything be done with it, polishing maybe or is it just a bad paint job?

That kind of effect is normally caused by excessive use of accelerators to cure the paint quickly. It may well have looked ok when you first had it done as this usually develops over time.

I agree with Lopez - as long as there's enough paint depth to play with it could be sanded and polished back to a reasonable finish.
