A colleague of mine has recently bought a Panasonic DMC-G3. He took some photos at work and asked me to download them for an assembly he'll be doing later. He showed the camera off, quite proudly, and then told me that the camera didn't come with a cable/lanyard to attach the lens cap to the camera. Should the camera have come with one or is it because the lenses are interchangeable so the lens cap is specific to each lens whereas a normal point and shoot camera doesn't have removable lenses so the cap stays the same?
He's drilled a hole through the lens cap to allow him to find a lanyard and attach the lens cap to the camera. Does anyone know of any such cables/lanyards for him to buy?
