PANASONIC LUMIX DMC-FZ7 advice

I'm thinking about getting one of these, anyone in here have one that they could tell me about? My price range is around £250, maybe a little more. Are there any other 'superior' cameras out there in the same price range that I should consider?

The Panasonic FZ7 is an excellent camera and probably a class leader, go for it !!

That's what I wanted to hear, I've been doing some research into the best camera I can get with £250 and this one was always top. Cheers mate
