I am finally takin the plunge! and treating myself for xmas. The big question a

PanasonicTH-42PX600 or
Pioneer PDP-427XD

I will be connecting my media center PC to the unit along with my games consoles,.

Also is the extended warranty with taking at around 300 for 3 years?

Any help in choosing would be appreciated

I know this isn't going to be much help but you won't go far wrong with either set they are both stunning sets. I prefer the look of the Pioneer because I don't like silver sets. Thats why I ended up buying the Pioneer 436XDE, stunning looking screen and great picture, Hi Def looks unbelievable as does the xbox 360. Your best bet is to pop down the shops and have a look and see which one you prefer.
