Hey, i though i would share this as i find it a nice substitute rather than paying my parents for housekeep.

near christmas i got given a laptop and after a few weeks of using it i eventually bought a brand new pc, so really the novelty wore off.

after leaving it to collect dust for 2 weeks my dad started picking it up and asking me all sorts of questions about how to do what, where can he buy music and films, etc the usual stuff.

but when i started a proper job in about april i told my parents i will give them £25 a week for my food/clothes cleaned etc but they then said that it didnt matter, just as long as they could use the laptop whenever they wanted ^_^ and we wont ask for any keep for a few months :D

so now in july my dad starts playing my Wii console and gets heavily into the playing the Golf game, so i then ask my parents if they want some keep but now they say can i have your Wii console for a few months keep, i hapilly agreed as long as i can have it back if i ever move out.

but now i have to suffer the consequences of my Parents playing boxing at around 12 at night shouting, i cant carry this on any but what should i do?

should i say to them whatever gadget i have you cant have i just want to pay or hapilly let them use my next gadget?

i have a funny feeling that my mam wants my DS with brain training.

has anyone else been "bribed" off with silly offers like this instead of housekeep? :D

Loud noises at midnight from your parents....playing on the Wii...yeah...right..

rofl that sounds bad, its actually quite funny because i came down the next day and found one of the wii remotes had taken a chunk out of the TV stand and nearly tilted the LCD into a early death!

good thing their is a Log of what games were played at what times :D

"You're hitting me so hard!"

"Enter the ring again and I'll knock you senseless Mister!"

If you're living at home you should let your parents play with your gadgets. Just make sure you get a look in when you want to play. Sounds really funny to me as I could never imagine my rents doing that! To me it wouldn't be a problem as long as I could play.

thats sort of the deal, but im going to have to take my laptop to work soon which means im taking it off them :D, as im not earning much as its only an apprenteship i cant afford to pay them loads.

its also thought i only had 1 wii remote but i found another my dad must have bought.

Pfft, I'm sure if you have to use your laptop for work that'll be fine! Point your parents in the direction of somewhere to buy new Wii games and accessories... :D
