Today went to the local skatepark which is situated in a nearby village recreational ground. Is possible to park on the road adjacent however i pull onto the open grass area past the pavement (but not within the park area gates) for various reasons.

Noted a guy taking my registration down, a local parish council guy, said he's going to report me for parking on 'private' property (is owned by the council). After a small confontation between me and him (nothing violent) he left but still saying he was going to report it. He was a typical busy-body old guy who admitted himself that he is an "********" (his words not mine).

There are no signs at all related to parking etc.

Can anything come of this?

Further to this I managed to obtain his full name, address and home telephone number. Amazing what details one can obtain from the parish council about their 'employees'!

Cheers for any help.

busy bodies!

basically, if it is not signed they cant do anything. you havent done anything wrong. the most they could do would be to send you a letter asking you not to park there.

also, if they have no proof you parked there, again there is nothing they can do.
