Part worn tyres in liverpool anyone?

Heyhey, had a blow-out this morning. Scary really being as i was planning to hit the motorway a bit late.
Really I need to get 3 tyres replaced and i wont be forking out for new tyres if i can help it as i wont be keeping the car for much longer. So, does anyone know of a place in liverpool where i can get part worn tyres fitted?.
Worth a go :).
 
Theres a place on edge lane if I remeber rightly, heading towards town its a few mins after the retail park just past marconi on the left, although im not sure if thats still there.

Failing that I know there is one in tuebrook, on the left just before the police station if your heading away from queens drive and again towards town.

Not sure if that's still there dude (my local knowledge is gowing, but not great). I only live up the road from edge lane so it would be a score!. Not quite sure where you mean though dude, if you go down past the retail park (the one with the cinema/b+q etc) you go past a BP garage on the left, then down to the bottom and past the back of the hospital?. Is it somewhere down there?.

Which ends that dude?. I would be coming from the end going out to town (by the mcdonalds). I've got no idea where the cricket ground is, you dont mean the kwikfit on the right hand side per chance?.

The sale of part worns is a dangerous thing that should be banned imo.

I just hope your new part worn tyres hav'nt previously been weakened by some incident or other, they usually go through some incident to end up for sale as part worns i.e. the car they were on gets trashed in some manner, your short term saving could easily cost you your life! - Fancy another blow out???

I'd advise anybody to seriously consider this aspect of scrimping on the only part of a car thats in contact with the road.

Theres a brilliant place in Wavertree, around the corner from Edge Hill train station on Spekeland Rd - my dad always calls it Spekelands but its actually called Liverpool Tyres. He has been going there for years and swears by them for part worn tyres. I got 2tyres and laser tracking off them a few months ago for 60quid - superb, cheap as chips!!
