It's southerners who miss out letters? they miss 'T' out of lots of words?

Hmm that sounds like all the northerners I've ever met. Next you'll be complaining about this weird word, "the", that southerners use!

There is no difference at all between them. Both are corrrect.In what context? "The child is spoilt", "the food is spoiled". "I spelt it out for him" or "how is that spelled?"?

There is no context though.Except that on occasion spelt reads better than spelled or spoilt vs spoiled. Sometimes in the case where two options may be technically correct one will be easier to read, that's why I asked for context.
