Is it too early to put grass seed down to fill the thin areas of my lawn?

will frost kill seed?

frost won't kill grass seed,

it may kill the seedlings, just spike a bit of clear polythene over the top if you are worried

Between March and April,
it's now warm and wet, so ideal

add a bit of fertiliser and you should have shoots in ten days,
then add a bit more fertiliser
