all fights = turn on real time, cast haste, let melee/axe throwers rip, sixty percent of the time it works every time.

On Hard thats all fights = turn on real time, cast haste, let melee/axe throwers rip, 90 percent of the time dead party :D

My tips for Hard are make sure everyone has Toughness, Mythic Toughness, Dodge, Mythic Dodge, Spell Penetration, Mythic Spell Penetration, Shake it Off, Fighter Tactics, Last Stand, Improved Initiative, Mythic Improved Initiative, Thundering Blows, Opportunist, Precise Strike, Snapshot, Multishot, Shield Wall and a bunch of others and buff, buff before every fight and buff like mad, do all that and you can have a nice sexy guy up front in the party with around 50 AC to handle the blows and a high spell penetration caster to tear things up !

I do hate it when the game doesn't give a chance to buff before a big fight. I had to fight a dragon and after some conversation I was straight into a fight and got mullered.
Restarted, buffed just before the conversation and won easily (well easier) but that was all down to me knowing the conversation was going to trigger at a certain point.

So I'm in Drezen and I just realised something. When you approach a magnifying glass spot on the map you get a little description. That's all I thought it was, well here in drezen I interacted with one with a character with low knowledge, it only showed the text, I then tried with my character and it turned into a hand and I was able to activate the objects. I'm just wondering what else I've missed not realising this =/

Find I am constantly rotating the camera, turned up the rotation speed quite a lot so its not too bad, turned off quite a few of the focus camera options as well.

Also often find damaging spells are a complete waste of time, either missing/failing rolls or so pathetic damage wise, my casters are just buff and heal bots most of the time. I did only reach level 6 spells before restarting though.
Build an Azata Crossblooded Sorcerer, take white/silver dragon bloodline (pick the other using a mythic level) and water bloodline, take ascendant element cold, take elemental barrage, specialise in Chain Lightning, Bolster metamagic Chain Lightning, equip Stormlord's Resolve, take all the usual caster stuff like spell penetration
Cast waterfall on enemies with the Stormlord's Resolve lightning conversion active, disable the conversion and activate your bloodline cold conversion, cast Chain Lightning on the aforementioned and now very soggy enemies. Deal a bajillion damage to everything on screen

So I keep getting dogged by the skeleton merchant, I've just cleared drezen and I'm looking at the prices thinking, will I ever have this money to splurge? Even one item is more than I have ever seen despite picking up and selling a lot of stuff.75000, 50000 items? Do we get to accumulate that much currency?

Also what's with the dragon appearing when trying to get to teh forest to fight it... I'm guessing I need to complete other crusader events for it to not target me?

Money goes up rapidly, early on I had little cash but later one once magical weapons and armour start dropping commonly off mobs I went from having 100k to have 2 million

I just ran away from the dragon for a bit until I was a couple of levels higher then beat it on the quest.

Makes sense. Looking forward to being Scrooge mcduck.
Got another question, so I'm in a certain laboratory and I've cleared it including this room with a big bad, 2 vrocks and another mob. Tough fight at level 10, took me about an hour to figure out a tactic that worked. The boss dropped a +1 protection ring and cloak and I was like REALLY?
Found another room with a level 40ish boss as well, I didn't check the level of the other boss but it took me a long time. Are we supposed to kill these things? I figured out a tactic for this second boss room I think should work but I don't know if it is worth the effort. The level differences seem insane.

Some bosses are optional fights, you dont need to kill them in order to progress and they are usually extremely tough fights

Just picked up Arueshalea. Shes a good archer so using her and Wendaug as long range. But she's already warned me because i chose Demon Mythic path so doubt she will stay long :( Was using Woljif before, might get him back
when he returns - I dont mind light spoilers but when will he turn back up? He was my main Sneak/Perception specialist.

Also, is it better to have one 'main' army that im levelling or concentrate on getting experience for a few armies? I was mainly using the one but getting further in and getting more troops, so have a few low level ones now which arnt high enough to take on most stuff i see.

I always have someone with high Trickery skill in the party so use what you have available.

I had 1 main army until I recruit enough to make another one strong enough. I now have 4 varying between level 7-9 each with their own general.
Some are better at dealing with demons, some are better at dealing with undead.

After the assault on Drezen you can get him again but you have to find him on the map. I don't remember him being that far from the city.

I loved him as well. But I have other favourites now too, I prefer Regil over him at the moment.

Is there any benefit keeping the characters instead of rolling your own, other than a few quests/stories?
Not really. Some of the companion characters are actually worse than a similar mercenary purely by virtue of things like their starting stats, initial level allocations, deity selections and the like
You can always use ToyBox and a reroll mod to let you keep the companions but also spec them exactly how you want. For example I changed Lann to worship Erastil for better domains, and turned Arueshalae completely into a Kineticist
