I think I know the answer is yes but are the Patriot viper 4000 sticks good for overclocking on Ryzen?

These ones.

Are the Patriot vipers good overclockers, as I want to run them as fast as I can at 3600MHz.

Anyone know what the Dram calc spits out for 3600MHz fast timings for these ram modules?

And what kind of voltages does it take people to achieve stability. I think I remember some people using 1.45v

Any other good alternatives?

---

My current sticks I am running at 3600MHz 14 15 15 30 and they are fine but I still get the occasional memory issue and hard to say if it's the game or the ram.

For anyone that lurks on the forums I had memory issues when I installed 3080 and bumping the voltage to 1.5v I thought solved it as I finished of playing Watch dogs Legion for a few weeks with not a single problem.

Now playing Valhalla 11hrs in I had a freeze on the map and thinking just to buy some new ram.

Yeah I have those x4, B-die so 1.45 no issue... could go as high as 1.5 for daily but gets pretty toasty if you’ve got all 4 slots populated.

I’ve had it as low as CL14 @ 3600 (I forget the exact timings) but currently running a little looser at CL16 since the switch to a new CPU - I haven’t had time to tweak further or stability test at tighter timings.

Obviously some of it comes down to your IMC but the ram itself is pretty decent.

I have the same kit with 4 sticks populated. This is the fast preset:

I had them tightened further to cl-14-16-16-34 with quite tight secondary timings also which was stable to 3000% on memtest. But my pc failed to boot yesterday and my MoBo showed a RAM error code.
I ended up having to reset COMOS before it would boot again. So now I have just the fast preset from DRAM calculator and haven't bothered trying to tighten the timings further
Edit: can't get my image link to display so have just linked the URL to the timings
