Pay day tomorrow, time to buy!

With the newer cards they can carry sound over HDMI, you may need to right click the sound options in the task bar and enable HDMI as the sound output.
 
I know but I wont be using HDMI because the old card I will be using for now doesnt have HDMI output. So is there another way to transfer the sound?

@Prediciment Really? I love that case :p What do you consider a nice looking case?

I am such an idiot guys need some quick advice before the 4:30pm order cut off. I forgot about some bank charges coming off today so now im down roughly £100. My question is can I use a old WD Hard Drive that has windows xp installed already? Will I be able to just build it and re format my old drive with the new windows 7 OS?

Yes, just plug in as normal and when you put in Windows cd just tell it to format the one in there.

Have u backed up your stuff off there?
 
Thanks Biz.Kid, nah not backed it up, too much hassle and its not really anything important so I'm not too bothered :p

Hopefully DPD come tomorrow as its a Saturday delivery and this can become a build thread! :D (more likely a "Help me, my pc wont start" thread lol)
 
Errrmm I got a shipping email and I noticed this part "Please note: Orders shipped after 4:30pm on a Friday may not be due for delivery until the following Tuesday as they are not collected by our courier over the weekend."

When I ordered it said "Please note that in order for us to achieve your ideal delivery schedule a number of criteria need to have been met: You completed your order prior to the stated cut off time, which is normally 4.30pm"

So if I dont get this tomorrow because it wasnt shipped until 17:50 im going to be very annoyed
 
Anywayyyy after being annoyed and angry at myself for 30mins im going to continue to build and buy a heatsink asap. Can someone please tell me if the CPU is meant to take pressure when being secured? I started to close the lever but panicked cause it wasnt as easy as expected
