The problem with the idea (and the idea of paying people for giving blood generally) is that people who don't qualify will lie and try to give blood anyone, even when it isn't advisable for them to do so, in order to get the incentive (or cash, or whatever). So, although it's an amusing idea, I don't see it spreading here in the near future. It also seems to be suggesting that giving blood should be some sort of "punishment", which certainly isn't what hospitals want you to think!

Only in China would you see this happen. Thats pretty lame giving away your blood for an account. Next they will want hackers to donate their organs.
