Hi guys payday is this friday and im looking for a new phone and im clueless on what to get am not really hot with handhelds so, if you would kindly recommend me some nice new phones i will be going on contract, so ideas welcome!

also i have my eye on the LG chocolate, and the Noika n80, but if there are nicer/better phones please tell me!

What do you want the phone for besides calls etc?
Do you need a decent camera? MP3 player? Radio? 3G? Flashy looks?

Easier to work out what would be good for you if we've got a few details :)

i was looking at the LG chocolate but i went for the samsung E900 and i think i made the right move.

whats 3G? and i have an ipod so mp3 isnt a must have, but could come in handy i want it look the part, and have a decent camera :)
 
if you're looking at the n80 also look at the SE k800i.

LG Chocolate can't compete with either of those (and is priced as such so you'll be getting a phone that a lot of people will have if you go for it).

In my view the Samsung E900 is a better phone than the LG variety. Samsung have been players for far more years, it has a better more decent camera and screen to name but a few. I have ordered the phone myself as have others. There is a discussion about it somewhere on here.

From the people that actually are using them, there is not many that are disappointed, but there are with that LG Chocolate.
 
bump! so its now between the k800i, or the n80, but what deals theres so many willing to pay 35 quid 40 at a stretch per month, im wanting some good offers, with insurance please!
 
For the best deals, Orange seem to be very difficult to beat at the moment, especially with there 18-month deals. If you go direct to Orange you get free insurance, but then if you buy from a 3rd party (The Link, Carphonewarehouse etc) then they give you "free" line rental for several months, making the deals very tempting right now.

if i buy through the orange site i get free insurance? it asks for 5 pounds i think.
 
K800i is available on e2save on orange for £45 month (12 month contract) with 6 months free line rental (so effectively £22.50 a month), 3 months free insurance and free phone.
