Went into the 3 store today with him and he really didn't like the look of the Xperia S although the show model I looked at was very nice I thought.

The search continues... Any more suggestions?

EDIT - Blah. He refused to tell me he picked up a sealed GS2 earlier on!

Although bgr talk about 2 year contracts the principle is still the same. SGS2 and GN should drop in price after the new wave if devices are launched. I would keep hold of your dollar for another month or two.

Thanks for that. Today I was contemplating getting the HTC One X/S on a new 2 year contract..but I hate 2 year contracts, so was thinking about buying it sim-free as Im on a pretty cheap sim only contract. It would probably be £400-£500... when it launches though I'm assuming the GS2 will drop in price...which would still be a worthy upgrade from me from Orange Monte Carlo, so I guess ill wait a month or so and see what happens :)
