Paying my fathers credit card

I want to pay my fathers credit card payment and have some questions. I only have the card in my possession and not the monthly statement. He has it but at a different location. I know the min amount to pay and it is a NatWest card.

1. Can I pay the minimum monthly payment for that card at a NatWest bank somehow, even though I am not the official card holder?

2. How long does it take to clear, if cash is paid in?

3. Since I don't have the statement, would they give me a form to complete or would I just hand the card in at the cashiers till?

1) Yes.

2) Ususally 2-3 days.

3) The card details would be transcribed to a paying in form and be the basis of the transaction.

Normally you need the account number (credit card number) and sort code. You should be able to pay it off though, yes.

if you do online banking, you just need the card number and possibly the sort code and you can then just do a bank transfer/pay someone action and it will pop the money straight on there

But online banking...doesn't that take longer to clear, like 5 business days?

It's probably easier to go into the branch, hand over cash and job's done. That's the quickest way.

You might struggle with just the card too.

You'll need the sort code too if you want to do that...which means you'll need to speak to your father and get the details from the statement.
