Paypal question, ASAP

Going to be buying something through paypal, it's an auction that ends in 10 minutes - but I'm having trouble verifying my bank account. So I tried verifying my card, that didn't work either, they've nicked a pound and haven't left a code... thanks paypal

It says about limits if it's not verified, could I buy something for £10 unverified?

Should be able to I think, not sure about spending limits, I know it limits how much you can receive but £10 is far lower than it allows. (someone ese may be able to confirm this!)

get a statement from your bank

check the deposit amounts (should be two small amounts)

type them into the verifaction link when you log in

That's what I did, they're not on the statement.

The only trouble you might have is if a buyer has specified in their auction settings that only Ebayers with a confirmed Paypal address may bid on their item, as the confirmed address gives you seller protection.
