Tried the Paypal site and google but I couldn't find anything to answer my question and was appreciate if anyone knew answer.

Say I wanted to purchase an item via payal that cost £150 however my paypal balance was only £80. Would I still be able to purchase the item using the £80, then taking the rest straight from my paypal-linked bank account balance?

I would transfer it all to my bank account however it takes a few days and I would rather not wait.

I hope that makes sense, thanks.

Yeah you can, it should say when you're buying that £80 is coming out of your paypal balance and the rest out of whatever you want.

Good afternoon,

Do any paypal guru's now if it's possible to send a paypal gift and charge your credit card? I never really use paypal and only added my credit card last night.

Thanks. :)

you could send a gift but if your loading it from you c-card you will have to pay the fees
gift only works well if your funding from your paypal balance

on a side note i have noticed with gift payments recieved they now do not include a address, it says no address on file so not covered by paypal protection
