I've built PC's in the past but this time I'd rather have a prebuilt and tested system.

I'm a bit out of touch with current specs so any advice on my choices would be gratefully received.

I'm aware Davinci Resolve works best with a good GPU and seems to run well on an AMD Ryzen 2700, so I'm going for this, while trying to stay in budget. (Around £1300 or less).

    thanks.

    So far I've got:

resolve is GPU based!!!! then as many cores as you can shuck at it as fast as you can !

4k you'd be looking at 1080ti! friend did the morrisons advert using resolve and had dual GPU set up

    2700x is a great choice

GPU wise, push gtx 1070/vega 64 is you can

ask if they can upgrade to ryzen 2700
