What I don't get right is that £180 was limited numbers sold at a loss supported by AMD. Then it moved to the "proper" price of £225. Now it has dropped loads, so what happened to the "proper" price? Is it loss making again?

It has rasterisation performance on par with the 6600 and double the ray tracing performance of the 6600xt

That is their launch stock, they never sold any 6500 XT on launch day, probably late delivery, they are selling their allocation now, probably be gone by tomorrow.

£100 card imo, doesnt deserve an higher msrp, mind you looks like nvidia are going to release a dog with flies on, the 1630, apparently its worse than a 1050ti. be interested to see that msrp, at least the 6500xt is a decent(ish) pci4 card

Hard to argue really, it's a 'not so' solid budget card.

1630 and 6400 XT, just what the OEMs really demanded and not for the budget enthusiast crowd, could it not get any worse for affordable "decent performing" cards released so far this year.

The neglected gap between 6500 XT and RTX 3050 is a perfect slot for an entry level ARC launch when it does come eventually.
