PC gamer to console, now back to PC!

Nope, Ive got a PC, PS3 and 360. I play certain games on certain platforms, but it has to be said, any multi platform game, the PC seems to dominate it for me. If they are exclusives then I have no choice.

Why did you go to consoles and then back to PC?

I went to console because it was easier for me at the time, could sit on the sofa and not have to spend my evening in a box room on a PC. Did so for several years very happily, then recently (last several months) my mates have been banging on about how cheap it is to build a gaming rig these days.

Had a look and they were not wrong! So, tucked in, as all my mates keep pushing for me to join in the D3 fun! Why not :D

Also, needed a rig that would run ESXi without peeing it's pants.
 
PC version played on 55" (in my case) TV is the best visual feast I have ever experienced.

Also, it is my GOTY2011/2012, so if you have not played that...you better.

edit: ah I see you played on x360, well play it again on PC :p

Also, get Metro 2033 and Hard Reset, great shooters.

Dude! It's awsome, I can't fault it, the only bad thing in pro and user reviews was the img burn. Been using it just under a year now for 80% games and 20% bluerays, a whitewash every now and then if I spot something sorts it. So can't see why people complained!!!

Cheers mate, loving it so far. It's been such a nice day and I have been like a 16 yr old geek again! Been in my room all day configuring, playing and tweaking hehe. Love it! Misses just got back from Retford... She isn't happy... Oh well, I am!! :D

At the risk of insulting entire gaming communities, you just can't get away from the truth; aside from a few bad ports, the PC almost always wins hands down.

I have not seem Skyrim on the Xbox/PS3, but a friend did have Oblivion on the Xbox. Even in 2006 the PC took a massive dump on it from a great height.

Skyrim is meant to be played on PC :). I am currently hooked on it. I play it on my 47 inch LCD with a 360 wired pad and it works very well with a pad.

My mate let me use his account to download it and try it out :D

I didn't enjoy the MP as much as BF2, so won't be buying it.

EDIT: Oh, and as for the comments about the graphics in terms of console vs PC. Please don't get me wrong, I am a PC gamer at heart, have been for years so know for a fact graphically the PC will always win. I just disagree when people think consoles have NO good points and PC's are far superior. In the few years I played on the 360 only I really enjoyed it. Once my mind got away from the need of good graphics and down to gameplay. I loved it!

But, as I said, PC gamer at heart, it was inevitable I was to build another rig again. Although, I bought a mini tower otherwise I will get hooked on WC'ing again haha. Which costs too much!

yeah consoles have plenty good points, Just a shame you can't use mouse keyboard for fps games. plus they take up very little room, try hiding a pc tower!
 
I always feel the PC is better to play on for things like MW3, but my friend feels the total opposite. I'd love to get 2 groups of ppl together to play eachother PC vs console as I am sure the PC is more accurate etc.

I bought MW3 on pc at the weekend after having it on PS3 since release, what a relief as I can finally feel like I have 100% control again and less aim assist. Ehhhhh PC players would destroy the console players due to mouse keyboard being so much faster and accurate
 
I did the same thing as the OP - since I got a newer PC the xbox has just become an expensive paperweight/dust collector....

I thought about them, but I don't play CoD online because they ruin it for others. So didn't want to become that ****. I don't think they should be allowed for MP, SP no problem, play how you want. But MP should be fair. Mouse and KB will ALWAYS kill controller. Fact.
