GMG Bundle Deals

None of them seem worth it to be honest. You can't use the 20% discount code, either.

Yeah they seem pretty ordinary if you can't use the discount, most of the games in those bundles normally get discounted to under a fiver in Steam sales. If the LEGO bundle included the Star Wars games I might have been interested; likewise the FEAR bundle would be OK had it included Extraction Point and Perseus Mandate.

In terms of the GetGamesGo sale Ghost Recon Future Soldier looks pretty cheap for a modern game at under £8 (deluxe edition seems to just contain a load of multiplayer tat).

Yeah, it's pretty astonishing that they have sixteen (yes, 16) bundles up for offer yet not one of them presents any meaningful value in relation to current sale prices. I am being a little hard on them though, as I am basing value on only steam or origin codes supplied.

Crazy THQ bundle for $9.99, I just bought it using a fake US address. They are all steam keys. Works out roughly £1 per game.

Homefront
Metro 2033
Red Faction Armageddon
Red Faction Guerrilla
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine

Amazon.com have Prototype 1&2 and DLC for 2 for $9.99.

Just log in via your Amazon account and sign up here for an Tax free American address so you can purchase and add to your addresses.

It also can be redeemed on Steam, so win win for the price.

Are these Steam keys?
EDIT: Yup they are thats a canny chunk of games for relatively little.

skyrim is very cheap on cdj keys

As far as I can tell, Steam takes a very dim view of these kind of sites that sell cd keys only, and can use it as grounds to ban your entire account.

I've opened a support ticket to clarify it with them directly, and I'll post back any official response. But my understanding is you have to be sold the key along with the box and media, and they have to buy products for the region they are selling to.

Also Steam has a list of "Authorized Resellers" and if you buy from a site which isn't on that list, your product/account can be deactivated. It doesn't seem like they publish that list, however.

Will be interesting to hear what they say about cjs-cdkeys, which I've specifically mentioned in my support ticket.
