Anyone know if the steam serials for Sims 3 also register on Origin. Anyway from Game PC atm so unable to try myself)

I'm sure I read that all EA game keys can be activated on Origin, no matter where they came from - if not then they will add it for you under live chat. But you might want to check this on the Origin site.

I think when you buy a EA game from Steam and download/install it, the games automatically get added to your Origin client/account if you have Origin installed on your pc. At least that is what happened for me.

WOW - steam and origin have a shared key database or something?

No, it's just Origin having a sneaky peak at your registry, amongst other things on your PC.

Well not technically sneaky because you agree to it when you accept the EULA.

I think you can opt out though during initial installation of Origin.

Well I bought portal 2 when i was on offer a few days ago. must say that I didn't enjoy it at all. Was short, and that bloody robot voice was so stereotypically english.

*yawn*

Well seeing as Stephen Merchant IS English, its not a surprise he comes across as a person with a stereotypical English voice.

Haha! Although I played that whole game thinking it was Bill Bailey, need to do another play through knowing it's Merchant.

With all these deals from Steam & Origin, my SSD is filling up quick!

Is there any way to change the default installation folder to my second hard drive? If i can change it, can I just cut & paste my already installed games to the other drive?

How often are Alan Wake, Me 1+2, Dead Space 2 and Dragon Age around this price? I ask because my pc is probably a month or 2 away from being built and if these deals are pretty common ill waiIt. Scratch Dragon Age realised its not the goty

On a new install on Steam you can now choose which drive to install too. I think Origin still defaults to the folder chosen in your options.

They've all been on sale several times before, but it's an unknown as to when again and for how much. Mass effects have normally been around the £7.50 mark. Dead space has been on sale on several sites over the last couple of weeks, and probably will be again in the run up to the release of dead space 3.

If you can wait up to a few months, then no doubt they'll be on offer again somewhere.
