They normally clearly state if it's steam activated or not, so I would say that it isn't.

well, if i search for it, it says it is £9.99, but im downloading it now, it says 2 days left. does that mean 2 days of free play, or 2 days left to get the game for free?

Its on a free weekend... after the weekend your access will be removed unless you buy the game.

It's not scary, there's some situations an "enemy" will appear, but the spawning is usually shown which disappoints me a little

To be honest, play it winthe lights off and the sound up, and you will **** your pants at times.

Again, it's like anything else, if you allow your imagination to go a little it can suck you right in.
