I'd agree, it looks amazing and it's great to explore. Sunsets and sunrises are a real joy. But, it's a slow burn, and I've yet to finish it and I can't put my finger on why. My teenage son who has played the story three times and it's his favourite game of all time, tells me I'm close to the end, but I get distracted by other games.I’d argue RDR2 is one of the most detailed and intricate open world games out there, so it’s worth playing just for that. I think it’s absolutely stunning. I can’t hear that song by D’Angelo without getting something in my eye
It’s a bit like watching a slow burn drama like the West Wing though. You really need to give it time to percolate, get used to the world etc. Then when “stuff” happens, it hits hard.
Another repeat. but I have just under 1000 hours in that game, well worth it if you at all like Tower Defence games.

On the topic of FF7, the original is being removed from Steam and replaced with an updated version soon. Apparently you get the upgraded version for free as a separate game in your library if you own the original, so might be worth grabbing the original while you can if you have had it on your wish list for ages like me.

Excellent choice, I have just finished my second playthrough, this time with the DLC and still blown away by how good it is, not without some annoyances but one of my favourite franchises
