PC gaming is dying, just move on already.

PCs will always be more powerful than consoles since hardware is constantly evolving and therefore will always have niche for quality games that wouldn't be possible otherwise on consoles

As long as PCs are the tools to make games with, they'll still have games on them. :D You can't use an Xbox 360 to make a AAA game.

yes but if the games are desinged for the xbox/Ps3 then they will never be anything more than a console can't run. Ok, it might run at 60FPS/8xAA/16AF with vsync but that's it. You can even bolt-on some DX11 bits but the game won't be anything that 256mb RAM can't run.

If PC gaming died then Nvida and AMD's graphics division will be out of business;).

Nvidia and ATI's main products are on-board graphics for off-the-shelf PCs and the Xbox 360 (ATI) and the PS3 (Nvidia). A gaming graphics card is a very specialist item. It might represent their latest advances but it's not where they make the money due to units sold.

Black mirror 3 and asylum look interesting from a quick scan of the list. There are a few multi-platform games in there, but they're fps so still belong in the list :D.

As for the PC gaming is dying argument, I think there will always be a place for it and it may even become more popular.

I tend to play on both but mainly PC. I only play on FPS games on PC as there is no other way ;). I also tend to play 3rd person games on PC as they run great, most use the XBOX 360 pad and I can dl them from Steam in a couple of hours then play them. They're also a lot cheaper when Steam have a sale on, which makes up for the fact you can't sell them on.

The only games I play on my PS3 are exclusives, like Uncharted and (hopefully soon) GT5. Mainly use it as a BR player.

I was killing time the other week in Munich airport, there were tons of PC game magazines - there's a load of good European games you never hear of, as well as some good unique Anglosphere games.

Must admit i never touch my consoles the only one i played often was my 360 and guess what it's dead after repairing myself and breaking my nails that i just paid £25 for i binned it long live my pc gaming <3

This thread clearly presents the problem in which a lot of people only read the title and reply, rather than read the contents and formulate a response that makes sense.

This isn't a thread about PC gaming dying, it is actually about what to look forward to in 2011+.

especially Dead State. :)

Yep, very high on my watch list that. Despite being really zombied-out lately (L4D 1 & 2, PvZ, etc.), when I read it's going to be a modern, isometric, turn-based RPG from ex-Troika people... all I could say is oh hells yeah :D
