PC Locks up randomly not sure what to check!

another quick question as well:

right click of my computer gives me the following:

Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3450S CPU @ 2.80GHz 3.40GHz

whats the 3.40GHz mean? i can only assume it can be clocked to that?

Well as I understand it and in my case, the first number is the standart value on chip and 2nd is the Overclocked one, but it has sort of wigly line which I cant find on my keyboard... If thats the case your crashes could be down that you Overclocked your CPU too much without raising the vCore so it crashes.

The early ones when P67 had that SATA issue didn't have display connectors, they swapped directly from the P67 chipset to the Z68 one while keeping the same PCB and then just changing the name on it.

OCUk did have a bit of stock in awhile back of two of them that didnt have display connectors,

just an update while i remember;

managed to speak with Ocuk sales staff and took the gigabyte back, swapped it for an asus p8z77-v and it solved all my problems. =)

now to get a decent cooler..

thanks for help guys.
