Yo, correct location for thread??

Shut down PC, went away for 4 days/3 nights, came back, when to boot up, all started showing signs of life, then not even 2 seconds, all turned off again. I forgot to flip the switch off on the PSU before I left, so I don't know if this has affected something. I think it could be the Motherboard, but see no burn marks, and I don't believe it could be the PSU. Could it have anything to do with the CMOS battery?

Corsair 12 gb RAM
Leadex 1200W 80plus platinum

I think you need to test with a new CMOS battery. Your system is quite a few years old, isn't it? And 5 years is the expected lifespan of the CMOS battery.

I took it out for 5 minutes, and tried again, nothing, ill just test mobo and psu for now till i get something of a decent result, at least a new battery wont be too expensive :D
