Pc powers-up but without mouse, keyboard and blank screen?

I was having a problem with Internet Explorer (I kept getting a message saying - path or location unavailable or something similar) so I decided to do a restart. My pc didn't shut down or restart so I manually turned it off i.e. 4 secs on the power switch. I go to turn it on only everthing fires as usual in the case lights, fans, and the Hard drive is spinning but I get a "no signal" message on the screen and the keyboard and mouse have no signs of life.......system specs as follows:

asus srtiker extreme
3GB ddr2 800 ram
256 gpu
500 psu
core2duo E6600
vista ultimate

I would be really grateful for your thoughts on this issue of mine.

Unplug it.
Remove all ram and the video card.
Replace the video card and ONE stick of RAM.

Does it boot?

Thanks for the help but........

I removed all ram and gpu replaced it with one stick of ram. I believe the pc boots but since there is no signal to the screen I don't know what else could be wrong. Something during boot is not functioning properly since none of my USB devices light up either. Keyboard and mouse don't work either. If you have any suggestions I would love to hear them.

Have you tried clearing the CMOS?

Do you have another gfx card to test it with? Try to borrow one if you dont.

Does your motherboard make any beep noises, I think if you read the manual it should say something like the motherboard should make a beep noise when gfx isn't pluged in, same with ram. If thats the case then your motherboard may be gone...
