Chaps,
I'm hoping that someone might be able to shed some light on an issue that I'm experiencing.
I have a PC containing a Gigabyte GA-8KNE (rev 1) motherboard, 1GB ram, 7900GTX. I've connected an Akasa card reader to it via USB2. The OS is XP, SP2.
I'm running the latest firmware for the MB, and also the latest drivers.
When I insert my 4GB microdrive card into the card reader, all works fine.
When I inset a 1GB PNY CF card, the PC reboots after 10 seconds.
I've tested the PNY CF card on another PC/card reader combo, and there were no issues.
My guess is that maybe there is something wrong with the USB section of my motherboard. Any good ideas?
