PD>C2D, 3dm06 score now lower

Just tested a c2d @ 3.2 ghz vs my PD @ 4 ghz, same config.
Cpu score is higher on *** c2d, but my gfx score has fallen .
Any idea's what the hell is going on?

Light = c2d, dark = PD

Just found out:
pci-e is running 1x .
I set the freq @ 101 mhz to counter the problem, whats wrong?

Fixed pci-e but still odd sm2 and 3 scores, a bit lower than originals, surley a c2d doesn't bottleneck my card more than my netburst dual core?

set the pcie freq @ 110 mhz

Not the point, why is the sm3 and 2 score lower with the c2d than with the pentium D, it should be the same at least.



EDIT:
From a cold boot I still seem to get pci-e @ 1x, just on a reboot it seems to properly set @ 16x, any idea's how I can make the thing boot like it should first time?

both 3dm06 and cpu scores fall a bit, 3dm scores just about 2 % while cpu score 40 ish %.
