I was thinking about buying a PDA and maybe using it as a sat nav also.I dont know much about these and was woundering if you can put Mobile phone sim cards in them and use them to send texts ect?

Depends what you mean by pda. I have a qtek s200 with microsoft windows mobile 5.0, it can do pretty much anything a pda can (has tomtom navigator 5 installed on it) plus it can do everything a phone can

check out either the O2, T-mobile or Orange websites. On orange the pda/phones are called XDA-something, on T-mobile, MDA-something and on orange M-then a number.

These phones are rebrands of each other whic is why they will look similar

Check out the XDA developers site for good info. You'll see all the different types of PDA on there that the UK networks sell, though under their originally manufactured name ie XDA II = Himalaya. The aliases are listed on there too if you get a bit lost / confused.
